Extreme Weather and Inequality
A Day of Discussion: Saturday, November 5, 2022
The Center for History and Culture hosted a day-long discussion on Extreme Weather and Inequality at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ on November 5, 2022. Organized by Kate Williams and Abdul Alkalimat of Ancient to the Future, this conference brought together community leaders, business members, scholars, and other stakeholders, amplifying local voices and advancing solutions toward a sustainable and equitable future. Ancient to the Future and the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice will convene the second annual Extreme Weather and Inequality conference at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ on October 28, 2023.
